Ludmilla Bodo studied music at the Nantes Conservatory (CNR) in the class of M. Fabius, and in 1994 earned a gold medal in piano and chamber music. A promising talent, she received a first prize at the UFAM competition and a first medal at the Saint-Nom-la-Breteche competition. She then joined the B. Ringeissen and J.M. Damase class at the Rueil-Malmaison Conservatory. In 1997, she graduated with a First Prize in piano, awarded unanimously by an internationally renowned jury including El Bacha, Eric Lesage, and Noel Lee; as well as a First Prize in chamber music and music theory. She founded the Hoffmann Quartet, with which she performed in Paris and the surrounding region. As a soloist, she performed Beethoven's Second Piano Concerto at the Nantes Conservatory auditorium. She was also selected to give a recital as part of a presentation of Seiler pianos, performing as far away as Germany. In 2000, she earned her State Diploma in piano and has since divided her time between teaching and her artistic pursuits.
Her encounter with Marion Sylvestre and Veronica Grange steered her career towards accompanying operatic singers. Passionate about this world, she performs complete works such as Don Juan, Bastien Bastienne (Chateau de Valprivas, Les Estivalieres), Pomme d'api, un mari a la porte (Aix-en-Provence Festival 2005), Cosi fan tutte (Aix-en-Provence Festival 2006), and Le prince heureux (Thor Auditorium). Highly regarded for her musical qualities, she is regularly invited to give recitals (Chapelle du Mejan in Arles). In 2005, she participated in the creation of Opera Bouffe qu'on sert, a lyrical-burlesque show performed in Avignon for four seasons. In 2008, she became a permanent member of the Esteban Trio and refocused part of her activity on chamber music. She performs Saint-Saens' Carnival of the Animals as part of a series of educational concerts and participates in fundraising for organizations such as Fight Aid Monaco alongside Princess Stephanie, or the Lions Club for disaster relief in southeastern France. Her remarkable adaptability allows her to play a rich and diverse repertoire: solo recitals, duets, four-hand pieces, chamber music concerts with ensembles of varying sizes, accompaniment for opera singers, and various other performances. Convinced that music is a passion to be shared, she has been teaching at the Toulon Provence Mediterranee Regional Conservatory (CRR) since 2002.

He has also given concerts in Spain (Valencia, A Coruna, Santiago de Compostela) and participated in the Gran Canaria International Clarinet Festival in 2019. A versatile musician, he has performed with various chamber music ensembles, symphony orchestras, and wind bands. His talents have led him to play a wide repertoire ranging from clarinet to basset horn and bass clarinet.
In 2023 and 2024, he participated with the basset horn in the prestigious Xacobeo International Festival in Lalin (Galicia, Spain). He performs as a soloist on his instrument of choice, the basset horn, with which he also appears in solo performances with piano, organ, and orchestra. A passionate teacher, he taught clarinet at the Toulon Conservatory from 2004 to 2016, and subsequently in municipal and community music schools, notably in Le Luc-en-Provence, Sollies-Toucas, and La Crau, in partnership with the Toulon Regional Conservatory. He has also conducted ensembles, sharing his expertise with younger generations. He contributes to and collaborates with French, Italian, and Welsh composers for bass clarinet and basset horn, developing the clarinet repertoire. As founder and musical director of the clarinet ensemble "Arundo Toulon Mediterranee", he has been able to develop a space of creativity and innovation around the clarinet, moreover, as a testing musician and artist for the Steuer company, a reed manufacturer in the Var, he contributes to the development and improvement of clarinettists' tools.
